Leon plus combines a proven hygiene concept and ergonomic design with cutting-edge technology and well-thought-out expansion options. Leon Plus offer, for example, a ventilation performance in the back breath system on the level of an intensive respirator, precise electronic gas mixing in the wide flow range of 200 min/min to 18 L/min and different platform models for ceiling and wall mounting. The absorber can be changed during operation, different platform models are available for ceiling and wall mounting. Leon plus is also provided with a 15" colour TFT monitor and is available with a gas sensor with different options. The display – with and without gas identification – is integrated in the monitor.

The neonate and child intensive ventilator Leoni works with leakage-compensated volume triggering, which allows a safe and adapted ventilation of extremely light-weight premis and children with a body weight of up to 30 kg. The required breathing work is reduced by a highly advanced flow control and a unique expiration valve. The individual setting of the inspiratory and base flow also ensures the necessary high flexibility for the adjustment of the ventilation patterns. A monitor with graphical representation is integrated for monitoring purposes, offering safety through visual control.

Leoni Plus is suitable for long-term ventilation of very small premis, neonates and children with a weight of up to 30 kg. In addition to the basic breathing forms, the unit also offers CPAP, IPPV/IMV, ASSIST and SIMV via PSV and volume-controlled ventilation. The exact, patient-near flow sensor allows the automatic adaptation of the trigger sensitivity relative to the tidal volume of the patient (VT trigger adaptation). The extremely powerful, integrated HFO module Leoni HFO works according to the diaphragm principle and is suitable for patients up to 5 kg. The frequency range is between 4 and 20 Hertz.
