Ozgur Incekara
Ozgur Incekara, Chairman of Executive Board of Incekara Holding A.S. was born in Istanbul in 1966.
Having graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Letters, Department of English Linguistics, he worked in various positions within the company as of 1984.
While studying to earn master degree at the Department of Economics at Florida Atlantic University in 1990, he started to work as assistant of Vice President in Olympus America Inc.
After coming back to Turkey, Ozgur Incekara took part in the managerial staff of Incekara Holding A.S. and became Deputy General Manager in 1995 and General Manager in 1997 and he has been acting as Chairman of Executive Board since 2002.
Incekara participated in the workshops of the common working report of TUSIAD-John Hopkins University titled “A healthy future: Applicable solutions on the health reform”, and about the health sector, his opinions and recommendations have been published in various media organs.
In his professional and social life, he undertook important functions in many democratic mass organizations.
He worked as Member of Executive Board of TUGIAD (Young Businessman Association of Turkey) in 2002-2004, as Member of Executive Board of TUGIAD Ankara Branch in 2003-2006, as Chairman of Executive Board of SADER (Health Care Products Manufacturers and Representatives Association) in 2003-2006, as Member of Executive Board in 2006-2008 and since 2009, he has been working as Chairman of Supervisory Council.
In addition to be a Member of Executive Board of TEDMER (Turkish Ethical Values Foundation) in 2005-2006 and a Member of ATO (Ankara Chamber of Commerce) Medical Device and Product Dealers and Private Hospitals Committee in 2005-2006, he is also a member of TKSSD (Corporate Social Responsibility Association of Turkey), TKYD (Corporate Governance Association of Turkey), SEIS (Health Industry Employers’ Association of Turkey), DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) Work Councils of America, Asia and European Union as well as TABA (Turkish American Business Association), CCIFT (French Chamber of Commerce in Turkey), BCCI (The British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey), AHK (German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry), TIPGORDER (Turkish Association of Medical Diagnosis and Therapy Technologies), HUMED (Hacettepe University Alumni Association) and Ankara Jazz Association.
His valuable contributions to the health sector continue by means of his membership of Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Treatment Services, Medical Devices Scientific and Technical Advisory Commissions.
He still acts as Member of Executive Board of TEID (Ethics and Reputation Society) and SGT (Health Volunteers of Turkey) and Chairman of Turkish Medical Assembly at the Union of Chamber and Commodity Exchanges which controls the whole trade sector and Member of Advisory Board at TOBB University, Department of Electric and Electronics.
He is married with two children.
